Celebrating Excellence in Teaching

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2026, two distinguished faculty members of Cauvery College of Nursing Prof. Niky Mathew, Professor & HOD OBG Nursing and  Ms.Rani, Nursing Tutor  were honoured with the “Best Teacher Award” in recognition of their outstanding dedication, commitment, and contribution to nursing education.

The awards were presented by Dr. G.R. Chandrashekar, Chairman, Cauvery Group of Institutions, as a mark of appreciation for their exemplary service and inspiring role in shaping future generations of nurses.

Organ Donation day

World Organ Donation Day Poster Presentation

Cauvery College of Nursing, Mysore, conducted a Poster Presentation on Organ Donation on 13th August 2026 with the theme “One Organ, Many Lives.” The event aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of organ donation and its role in saving lives.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Srinivasan, Principal, Cauvery College of Pharmacy.

Educational visit

Educational Visit to AIISH

An educational visit to the (AIISH), Mysuru, was organized on 06/07/2026 for the 7th Semester B.Sc. Nursing students of Cauvery College of Nursing. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure, during the visit, students were introduced to various departments, including Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Services.

The faculty members at AIISH explained the functioning of different diagnostic equipment, hearing assessment procedures, speech therapy techniques, cochlear implant rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.This visit enhanced the students’ knowledge of speech and hearing disorders, improved their understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthened the connection between theoretical learning and clinical practice. The students actively participated in the sessions, interacted with the resource persons, and clarified their doubts.

Jnanotsava 2026

Open Day at Cauvery Group of Institutions, Mysuru was a memorable celebration of learning, innovation, and academic excellence. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the students, parents, teachers, school management members, and well-wishers whose enthusiastic participation made this event a grand success.

The campus came alive with excitement as visitors explored our state-of-the-art laboratories, well-equipped library, museums, and modern academic facilities. Students had the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of advanced medical technologies, including CT Scan and Cath Lab systems, gaining valuable exposure to real-world healthcare practices.

The event also showcased the creativity and technical skills of our Engineering students through innovative projects, including an Android-operated housekeeping robot. Interactive demonstrations helped visitors understand the structure and functioning of the human sensory organs, digestive system, respiratory system, excretory system, and human anatomy. Participants also experienced the working of a tablet punching machine, making the visit informative, engaging, and inspiring.

Jnanotsava 2026 provided prospective students and parents with an excellent opportunity to experience the vibrant learning environment, practical training facilities, and multidisciplinary education offered at Cauvery Group of Institutions.

Skill Lab Visit

Educational Visit by SKS College of Nursing, Salem

Students and faculty members of SKS College of Nursing, Salem, visited Cauvery College of Nursing, Mysuru, for an educational visit and administrative exposure programme.

The delegation was welcomed by Principal & faculties of Cauvery College of Nursing. During the visit, the students explored the institution’s academic facilities, advanced nursing skill laboratory, library, and administrative systems. They also interacted with faculty members and gained insights into nursing education and management practices.

The visit provided a valuable learning experience and promoted academic collaboration between the two institutions.

Advanced Skill Lab & RK Auditorium Inauguration

Cauvery Group of Institutions proudly inaugurated the Advanced Skill Lab and RK Auditorium at its Mysuru campus on Saturday, 13th June 2026. The inauguration marks a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to providing students with industry-oriented learning, advanced skill development opportunities, and world-class infrastructure.

The prestigious occasion was graced by Padmashree Dr. C. N. Manjunath, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Bangalore Rural), as the Chief Guest, and Prof. K. S. Rangappa, University Distinguished Professor, CSIR-Emeritus Scientist, and former Vice Chancellor, as the Guest of Honour, whose presence added immense value to the event.

Presided over by Dr. G. R. Chandrashekar and Dr. Sarala Chandrashekar, the ceremony reflected the institution’s vision of fostering academic excellence, innovation, and holistic student development. Bridging Healthcare and Justice

Cauvery College of Nursing, Mysuru, organized an insightful expert talk on “Forensic Nursing: Bridging Healthcare and Justice” for B.Sc. Nursing students.

The session was delivered by Dr. Chandrashekhara, Deputy Director, Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Mysuru. He highlighted the vital role of forensic nursing in medico-legal case management, evidence preservation, accurate documentation, reporting procedures, and the legal responsibilities of nurses in healthcare settings.

The interactive session provided students with valuable insights into the emerging field of forensic nursing and its crucial contribution to both patient care and the justice system.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Rajkannan N., Principal, Cauvery College of Nursing, Mysuru, and Mrs. Niky Mathew, Faculty Coordinator.
